The colorguard program at FVHS is under the direction and instruction of Scott Booth and Nikki Booth. The pair came to Fuquay-Varina band program in the summer of 2006 and introduced the Winterguard program in 2008, providing year-round performance opportunities for members.
Scott Booth
Scott has been involved in the colorguard activity since 1994. He marched with Wake-Forest Rolesville HS from 1993-1997, performing with the Winterguard in 1995 and 1996 and with the Fall Colorguard in 1997. Scott has performed with multiple independent units in NC. He marched with CVP in 1997, 1999 and 2000. He marched with Millenia WG from Rock Hill, SC in 1998. In 2001 he marched with the Bluecoats from Canton OH. After a short and needed break from the activity Scott re-entered the world of colorguard in 2005. The year 2006 was an incredible year for Scott. That year he performed with Assembly Line WG, spent a summer competing with Carolina Gold, and earned a spot with Croatan World WG for the 2007 season. Currently Scott is performing with Assembly Line WG, and looks forward to another successful summer out with Carolina Gold.
Nikki Booth
Nikki has been involved in the colorguard activity since 1995. She marched with Wake-Forest Rolesville HS from 1995-1999 in the Fall Colorguard, performing with the Winterguard in 1996-1997. Nikki has performed with multiple independent units in NC. She marched with CVP from 1999-2000. She marched with Millenia from Rock Hill, SC in 1998. Nikki took a much needed break from colorguard after the 2000 season and re-entered the activity in 2007 with Assembly Line WG. Nikki is currently performing with Assembly Line WG.
